MORE is the premier mountain biking and trail-building advocacy club in the Mid-Atlantic region of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. MORE’s mission is to build an inclusive mountain biking community and to increase access to natural-surface trails throughout the region for all riders.

Friends of Hashawha & Bear Branch is a Carroll County recreation council that helps oversee events and the care of the Hashawha Environmental center. Made up of volunteers, from naturalists, cyclists, equestrians, bird watchers and more, they raise awareness and funds to care for the park’s many gardens, trails and resident wildlife.

Ride With Gratitude is an initiative that was started by The Borderlands, an organization connecting the trails of Québec, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. We have recently teamed up with with The Borderlands in an effort to promote the Ride With Gratitude values here at Hashawha and Union Mills trails.

The Carroll County Recreation & Parks Dept. is our number one partner in the community. We work in cooperation and at the service of the the county Recs & Parks dept. and we’re grateful for their continuing trust in our ability to help maintain the trails in Hashawha and Union Mills along with their faith in our ability to educate trails users in proper trail etiquette.
